Accurate & Precise Molding & Bonding

Colors NS by Orfit are made to precisely mold and conform to any shape and can easily be re-molded with localized heating. Accurate molding improves correct dispersion of skin pressure. The non-stick coating of the material will prevent the splint from clinging to other surfaces. The material however can be pinched together to create a temporary bond. It can also be permanently bonded by removing some areas of the non-stick coating first. The splinting material can be molded for 4-6 minutes with 100% memory after being heated in water.

Offers Metallic & Bright Colored Splints

Available in metallic and bright colored splints, Colors NS by Orfit help improve patient compliance. The different colors are kid-friendly, whereas neutral colors offer a more subtle appearance suitable for any age. Providing slight compression, the thermoplastic material has minimum to moderate resistance to stretch. The material is also constructed with elastic memory and resistance to tearing.

Used as Stabilizing Orthoses & Braces

Ideal for customized molding of splints for the partial or total immobilization of arms, legs, hands, fingers, or pediatric uses. The thick, smooth Orfit Colors are ideal for injuries that cover larger areas such as the arms or legs. And the thin, perforated Orfit Colors are ideal for hand, finger, and pediatric splints. Available in different sizes and perforations, minimum rigidity allows the splint to flex slightly for more comfortable positioning.
