Rolyan Hemi Arm Slings
Help Maintain Full ROM
The Rolyan Hemi Arm Slings use an adjustable strapping system to offload the forces against the shoulder and humeral joint that cause subluxation. Three elastic straps help transfer the weight of the arm to the scapula while allowing the patients to maintain full ROM and perform rehabilitative exercises. They are effective for patients following a stroke, soft tissue injury, or ligament strain.
Dynamic Strapping
The elastic straps of the Rolyan shoulder sling are dynamic, enabling hemiplegic patients to use their affected arm during functional tasks. They feature hook-and-loop closures on the upper arm cuff to securely wrap around the bicep. An optional Sling Cuff Adapter can be added for an additional wrist support that holds the arm at a 90º angle. The Hemi II sling is 1 1/2" (3.8 cm) longer than the Original Hemi Sling, making it ideal for heavier patients or patients increasing their active motion.
Slim Design Fits Under Clothing
Enhancing normal gait patterns and range of motion during everyday activities, the Rolyan Hemi Arm Slings are machine washable at the end of the day. The sling material is made of nylon with polyester foam laminate and can be washed in warm water with the closures fastened. The lightweight brace is easily taken on and off and can be worn under clothing for discreet and effective support at any time.
