Rolyan Radial Bar Wrist Cock-Up Splint
A popular orthosis, the Radial Bar Wrist Cock-up, immobilizes the wrist in any degree of flexion or extension but allows for functional use of the thumb and fingers. Commonly prescribed for patients with carpal tunnel syndrome, wrist sprains, strains, or following forearm and carpal surgeries or fractures; it can be fabricated on a volar or dorsal surface. It is customized to the patient by trimming, and heating at the appropriate temperature to shape to the wrist.
